01A shift, in three parts

Keep the whole shift in view.

From the first order to the handoff at the restaurant, every step stays connected to the same shift.

  1. 01

    Start with the orders

Open a shift, add a delivery from the receipt or by hand, and mark each stop as it moves along.

  2. 02

    Follow the route

Keep pending stops in order and open an address in Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps when you need directions.

  3. 03

    Close the shift

See fees, bill payments and tips side by side: what stays with you and what goes back to the restaurant.

02Useful details, kept close

Every delivery has two sides.

AReceipt to order

Let the receipt help. You make the call.

A photo of the receipt can suggest the order number, address and bill amount. Check and edit every field before saving — or skip the photo and type it in.

BPayments to closeout

Separate the money. See the closeout.

Bill payments and tips are recorded independently, even when one order is split between card and cash. The summary shows what you keep and the cash to hand back to — or collect from — the restaurant.

  • Split the bill

Part on card, part in cash — on the same order, without breaking the closeout.

  • Your maps app

Open any stop in Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps.

  • Miles or kilometers

Pick the unit you think in. Past shifts follow along.

Switch the language whenever you like.

03Where it began

A family project, built one shift at a time.

DelExpress started as a practical tool for a family member who delivers for a restaurant. It follows the work he already does: take the order, make the delivery, record how it was paid and close the shift.

The pilot is small and family-run. This page presents the project; it is not an open sign-up.

04Records and connections

Your records live on your phone.

  • Saved on the device

Orders and shift history are stored on the phone, so the app opens fast and keeps up with the shift.

  • Works without signal

Once the app has loaded, basic record-keeping keeps working offline.

  • Backed up automatically

When online, a copy goes to private, invite-only storage. A lost phone doesn’t mean a lost history. Receipt photos are not included.

Receipt reading and address or map lookups need internet. They send only the photo, address or coordinates needed for that request to the providers involved.

05Closed pilot

Curious about DelExpress?

Access is invite-only while the pilot runs. Invitations are considered one by one. Writing in starts a conversation — it doesn’t create an account or grant access.

Your email app opens a draft for you to review. Nothing is sent automatically.

06A few clear answers

Before you write in.

Can I create an account now?

There is no public sign-up. The family pilot comes first, and new invitations are considered individually.

What happens when I show interest?

Your email app opens a draft addressed to caio@lombello.com. You can edit it, send it or close it. This page does not collect or store your email.

What if I lose my phone?

Records live on the phone, and an automatic copy is kept in the project’s private storage under your invited email. On a new phone, sign in and restore it from Settings. Receipt photos are not included.

What needs an internet connection?

Basic record-keeping works offline after loading. Reading receipt photos and checking addresses or maps need internet and send the required data to the providers involved.

Does it work outside the US?

The pilot runs in the US, with dollars and miles by default. Kilometers and Portuguese are already available; other regions haven’t been tested.
